At UWC Dilijan College students are encouraged to balance their academic studies with physical exercise, developing their skills by finding challenging, communal and rewarding ways of keeping fit. Staying with this holistic philosophy, the Sports Centre has been designed with different internal and external sports spaces to cater for a diverse range of sporting tastes.

The outdoor facilities include a UEFA international standard flood-lit grass football pitch, all weather basketball, volleyball and tennis courts. Indoor facilities include a competition standard indoor swimming pool (25m) , large multi-gymnasium areas for basketball, netball, indoor football, gymnastics, trampolining, table tennis and badminton. A fully equipped fitness gym includes a judo and dance area. The halls also accommodate ample spectator seating, tribune areas and viewing galleries.

Architecturally, the Sports Centre features an interesting combination of materials such as traditional local stone and contemporary full height glazed curtain walls.  The space plays to the strengths of the strong Armenian sporting heritage while introducing the students to new sporting activities and offering the latest in physical education.
