Tim Flynn Architects won the Trendsetting Architecture leadership award at the International Green Roof Congress

Tim Flynn Architects won the 2015 IGRA Green Roof Leadership Award in the category “Trendsetting Architecture” for the UWC Dilijan College.
Tim Flynn has received the award at a ceremony during the 4th International Green Roof Congress at the Zorlu Centers` Raffles Hotel in Istanbul on 20th April 2015.
This prize is meant to be a signal for other architects and organisations to explore new ideas for green urban spaces off the beaten track.
In the past this award has been given to projects, persons and organisations such as the Rolls Royce manufacturing plant in Chichester (UK), Friends of the Highline in New York (USA), the JTC Corporation (Project Fusionopolis, Singapore) and Peter Busby (Perkins + Will) / Cornelia Hahn Oberlander for their project VanDusen Botanical Garden Visitor Center (CAN).
Tim Flynn Architects and Udo Dagenbach from Glasser & Dagenbach presented the UWC Dilijan College project demonstrating how green roofs and living walls were used for nature conservation and environmental education.
