Prince of Wales visits Armenia

Dilijan will have a Prince of Wales -Charles Alley. The certificate of the alley opening was given to His Royal Majesty Prince of Wales by the founders of UWC Dilijan College, Veronika Zonabend and Ruben Vardanyan. Upon the invitation of Armen Sargsyan’s charity initiative “Yerevan, My Love”, Prince Charles visited the Matenadaran where he received the certificate. The Matenadaran visit was followed by a presentation of the Dilijan International School that opened its doors to its first pupils in Sep, 2014. 65 sycamores will be planted in the Prince Charles Alley. Sycamore, the knowledge tree, is the symbol of Dilijan.
